KNOCKED-OUT TOOTH (AVULSED TOOTH)
A knocked-out tooth requires immediate attention. If the tooth is a permanent tooth, act quickly to save it. Try to place the tooth back in its socket or keep it moist (in a cup of milk or saliva) while heading to the dentist.
WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Act quickly: The sooner you see a dentist, the better the chances of saving the tooth.
Hold the tooth by the crown (top part), not the root, and rinse it gently with water if it’s dirty.
Place the tooth back into the socket if possible, or keep it in a cup of milk or saliva.
Call your dentist immediately for instructions on how to proceed.
